The Skybanners systems we fly are light weight material banners, that are suspended under the helicopter via attachment to any approved cargo hook; a main rope supports the actual banner, which in turn is ballasted by a weight bag at the front-bottom corner of the banner.

Banners are designed in sizes ranging from 1,000 sq.mt. to 2,000 sq.mt. The standard size is 1,500 sq.mt. or approx 15,000 sq.ft. (25m X 60m). Aerodynamic shape is attained by curves cut into the leading-edge of the banner; at normal flight speed of approx 35 knots, and in combination with the ballast weight, the correct angle and flight penetration for the banner is acquired.

The banners have considerable turning ability, enabling creative flight paths that can effectively cover urban/city areas. Operating at normal flight levels of 1,000ft AGL, the effectiveness is greatly enhanced by the size, and hence visibility, of the advertising message.
