Looking for a qualified flight operations dispatcher

Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze the latest available weather forecasts, NOTAM, and the aircraft performance; determine route and flight altitude requirements for each flight
Ensure Flight plans are calculated as per legal GCAA requirements, compliance with Operational Manuals.
Prepare and file an approved ATC flight plan for each flight and ensure that Computer Flight Plan and all briefing documents are provided to the operating crew.
Support flight crew during the decision making or troubleshooting processes during all phases of the flight.
Airport and route analysis and feasibility checks to support flight operations department.
Coordination with Client for all flight requirements.
Assisting Director Flight Operations in Planning, Rostering and Scheduling of Flight Crew.
Adhere to AOC and company procedures
Administrative duties relevant for flight dispatch department
Close coordination with the Ground Handling and Maintenance team to ensure a good communication flow
Flight data entry
Providing support to the Training department.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements/Qualifications
Possess a valid “Flight Dispatcher License” issued by GCAA
Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in flight operations in a comparable airlines company
Familiar with the Flight Planning Tool prevalent at the time of recruitment.
Flight Watch/Monitoring Experience.
Preferable experience in dispatching helicopter offshore flights.
Skills
Hardworking and flexible
Good standard of English communication and written skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and other office application.
Well develop lateral analytical thinking skills.
